Welcome Traveller! It's good to see you made it into port safely. The open sea can be a dangerous place. As you settle in, I'd like to tell you a little bit about Alleria. The islands used to be one larger island. At the dawn of the 19th century, a massive earthquake split the once large and thriving community into multiple islands. The residents have rebuilt over the years, but still cling to the memories of what used to be, and in many ways refuse to adapt. Bridges have been constructed to span the gaps between some of the islands, and others are accessible by boat, so the Allerians have been able to reclaim some of what wasn't swallowed by the sea.
